The role will see the successful candidate provide an efficient and effective high quality caretaking and day to day maintenance service in One of Optivo's new over 55's retirement developments (mixed tenure) in Cheam, Surrey, in the london borough of Sutton.
The successful candidate will be able to demostrate:
- The ability to undertake a variety of minor building repairs and have a good working knowledge of building trades - plumbing, carpentry, joinery, glazing, plasterwork and other general repairs
- Gardening Skills
- Flexibility, self-reliant and ability to work as part of a team
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation and/or codes of practice i.e. Construction and Health & Safety including COSSH and risk assessments
- Ability to co-ordinate contractors and other service personnel related to on-site accomodation to meet targets and deadlines for completion of work.
